Do you charge for staff training?

Yes - there are some staff training costs [pdf]. Staff training is free for BCH partners.

How often does staff training occur?

We can arrange training to suit you if you have between 8 - 16 members of staff who want to attend. We also run multi agency staff training on debt awareness and dealing with debts annually. These training courses are advertised on our website and via an email invitation.

Where does the training take place?

We would normally ask the organization requesting the training to arrange a suitable venue. If we are arranging the training the venue is be determined by how many staff will be attending. We try to use central locations and accessible venues.

What topics are covered?

Our most popular staff training workshops are Debt Awareness and Dealing with Debts. These cover budgeting and debt issues. Other specific workshops can be delivered on request. There may be an additional charge if we have to develop new workshops.

Is there a limit to how many members of staff from each organisation can attend the staff training?

The ideal number of delegates for each session is between 8 - 16, although sometimes we are restricted to numbers depending upon the room size.

Will I receive an AQA certificate for any workshops that I successfully complete?

Currently delegates have the option of receiving an AQA UAS certificate for attending the Dealing with Debts session, however there is an additional charge for this.

Do you run staff training outside of Bolton?

Yes - we are available to run staff training in Greater Manchester and throughout the North West.

If I feel that clients from my organisation would benefit from the training, can I refer them?

Yes of course. We run workshops for clients regularly within the Bolton area, please check our news for info.
