We offer free impartial money guidance to people who live, work or study in Bolton.
We can help with a range of issues including: high energy costs, budgeting guidance and dealing with debts.
Due to government guidance on Covid-19, we have suspended our face to face appointments and invitation-only drop ins, and are currently running all appointments via telephone or video conferencing. If you need to contact Money Skills and nobody is available to take your call, please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you have a telephone/video appointment with Money Skills, it would be helpful if you could have the following to hand when we call:
Proof of your income (wage slips, benefit award letters, bank statements etc)
Any letters from your creditors (the people you owe money to)
Details of gas, electric and other household bills
Any court letters
An idea of your regular outgoings such as your rent, council tax, gas & electricity, food shopping etc
Budgeting and Passport to Housing
Energy Guidance and Efficiency
